Ancient Brundisium – One of the Most Important Cities in Apulia 

The buildings in the historical centre narrate the magnificence of Brundisium during Roman times. The Appian Way ended in Brindisi, which was a major port for trade. During the Middle Ages, it underwent countless transformations.
