Messapian and Roman Lecce
A walk through the historical centre of Lecce to discover the history of the Messapian settlement whose name is unknown, and also the ancient monuments of the Roman city of Lupiae, which became a colony in the Augustan age.
A journey back in time, 25 centuries ago, to discover the places of worship as well as the buildings, the construction techniques and the way of life of the inhabitants of the city in ancient times.

Roman Amphitheatre (only outside), Roman Theatre (entrance fee), Roman Baths in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II (no longer visible), Isis Temple (uncoveredduring the restoration of Palazzo Vernazza –entrance fee), Piazzetta Castromediano, Sigismondo Castromediano Archaeological Museum or Faggiano Museum (entrance fee)
