Gravina: The City of Water and Stone

The soft rock on which Gravina rises contributed to the unique cave dwelling system carved directly into the stone. A journey back in time that starts from Piazza Benedetto XIII with the Cathedral of the Assumption, and winds its way through the medieval district of Fondovito, passes through the rock church of San Michele delle Grotte and arrives at the Aqueduct Bridge which spans the Gravina al Belvedere, and then on to the archaeological area of the necropolis and Peuceta settlement in the area of ​​Padre Eterno and Botromagno.
